From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free..

What is happening in Palestine

BACKGROUND:

Palestine is the country in the Middle East and has been inhibited by Muslim, Christian and Jewish Palestinians for a long time. In 1948, Zionists (an ideology and nationalist movement among the Jewish people that supports the establishment of a Jewish State ‘Israel’) forced around half of the population out of their homes, in order to establish ‘Israel’.

Since then, Israel (Israel is not a country, Israel is a settler colony that is attempting to replace Palestinians with a new society of settlers) has continued to take more and more Palestinian land, very little land is now labeled as Palestinian Land.

Gaza, Palestine:

Gaza is an area in Palestine that has separated from the rest of the country, because of Israeli colonization.

On top of this, Israel has created a blockade of food and people between Gaza and the rest of Palestine, they claim that this is necessary for security reasons. This had a significant impact on citizens living there. 80% of citizens rely on humanitarian aid and 96% of water there cannot be used. These people are not even able to leave this area.

What Happened?

There has been an ongoing rivalry between Palestine and Israel since 1948 because both groups want to declare the country theirs. They have spent years fighting over land, but they never come to agreement. Over the years, “ethnic cleansing” has been performed in an attempt to decrease the Palestinian population and to put Israelis in absolute power

May 6, 2021, after the Israeli Supreme Court followed through with the eviction of 6 Palestinian families from Sheikh Jarrah (a neighborhood in East Jerusalem). Palestinians began to protest.

Why did it happen?

All in an effort to slowly reduce, and eventually discard Palestinians completely from Israel.

Now?

Palestinians are facing eviction. Kids are getting ripped away from their homes, families are getting tone apart, death tolls are increasing by the minute, and more and more human rights are being violated.

 Israeli Logic:

Step 1:

Israelis steal Palestinian land and force them to leave their homes, they torture them.

Step 2:

Palestinians retaliate; they throw rocks; they resist the occupation.

Step 3:

Israelis murder or arrest Palestinians for throwing rocks or for resisting.

Step 4:

Israelis cry “We’re innocent! Look the Palestinians started it!” News outlets only cover step 2. Israelis pretend that step 1 never happened.

Misconceptions:

Myth:

Palestinians and Israelis are fighting because of religion-based differences.

Fact:

The events happening are not part of a conflict, Israelis are colonizing and occupying Palestine, it is an ethnic cleansing.

Myth:

No, Israel always says that it is conflict.

Fact:

Israel tends to spread misinformation about the events. They are also backed by other large settler colonies such as USA.

Myth:

No one has intervened and most places don’t even recognize the events as a genocide, if it was a large genocide the USA would stop it.

Fact:

Recognizing Palestine would mean that they would to recognize their own history of colonization.

“A SOULFUL TRIBUTE”

Young people were among the foremost affected groups during the newest Israeli operation on the besieged coastal enclave. Israeli air and artillery attacks killed 253 Palestinians, including 66 children, and left quite 1,900 people wounded.

Two children were among 12 people killed in Israel by rockets fired by Hamas and other armed groups from Gaza during an equivalent period.

The Israeli onslaught also completely destroyed 1,800 residential units in Gaza and partially demolished a minimum of 14,300 others. Tens of thousands of Palestinians are forced to require shelter in UN-run schools.

Palestinian children killed by Israeli forces:

Israeli forces killed at-least 66 children in Gaza during its latest offensive. They join the quite 3,000 Palestinian children who were killed by Israeli forces over the past 20 years, consistent with the Palestinian Authority’s Ministry of data .

As the Israeli occupation of Palestinian territories continues, so does violence against Palistinians, and therefore the children aren't spared.

In the past 20 years , Palestinian children have endured severe deadly offensives on the Gaza Strip , checkpoints, military raids, and expulsions from their land and houses throughout the occupied territories.

A culture of impunity surrounds the Israeli army’s actions, including the international use lethal weapons when there is no threat, even against children.

Here are some of them:

KNOW THEM

And there are many, many more….

According to the Palestinian Authority’s Ministry of data, at-least 3,090 minors are killed by the Israeli forces between 2000 and 2021.

These children were innocent human beings victims of occupation and murdered by the state of Israel!

“NO CRIME IS MORE HEINOUS THAN THE KILLING OF A CHILD!!!”

Pictures Of Palestinians Smiling While Getting Arrested:

Palestinians smiling while getting arrested by Israeli forces for protesting against the long going Israeli brutalities within the Palestine.

These pictures show the Palestinian protesters are smiling as they're getting arrested. They're happy, happy about the actual fact they stood up for something good, they stood up against the oppressors, which they stood up for the people of Palestine.

One of the more interesting features of the Palestinian protests was the selection of young Palestinians to smile as they were being arrested or attacked by the powerful Israeli security forces. These smiles recorded on cell-phones and distributed widely reflected a replacement paradigm of fearless young Palestinians who consider their dignity and freedom more important than the welfare that the Israelis bestow on the residents of East Jerusalem as a neighborhood of trying to make them more Israeli. (Daoud Kuttab)

Mariam Afifi, a Palestinian girl went viral on social media. Mariam Afifi went viral after the video of her smiling after being beaten and handcuffed by Israeli soldiers circulated on social media. Mariam Afifi’s story is now worldwide.

Mariam Afifi could also be a member of the Palestinian Youth Orchestra. Shee was arrested a few of days ago while protesting the forced eviction of residents within the East Jerusalem neighborhood of Sheikh Jarrah.

In the viral video, before being arrested, Mariam Afifi is seen being dragged in her red hijab by an Israeli soldier. She was then seen being removed , held by 2 soldiers.

For a few of of moments, the video shows Mariam Afifi, who is seen being handcuffed on the side of the road. A smile crossed her face because the cameras shot her.

Not only smiling, Mariam Afifi also skilled her arrest with a stubborn question. Handcuffed, Mariam Afifi questioned the rationale for her arrest to the Israeli soldiers who were monitoring her.

“Zionist Israel may steal Palestine’s land, intimidate their children, jail their men, and torment their women, but they are going to never break their soul”

NO ONE IS FREE UNTILL WE ARE ALL FREE

Don’t treat Palestine like it’s a trend, continue the same energy you guys did the first few days…

“Palestine isn't only a Muslim cause, it's a humanitarian cause. Any decent person should substitute solidarity with Palestine”

Israel can’t spin an equivalent old narrative anymore. People know the truth and it’s time to make Israel responsible of the countless innocent lives that are erased via genocide against the Palestinian people!!!!

The Palestinian struggle for freedom is a component of wider conversation regarding oppressive colonial and imperial struggles. In our endeavor to fight for a decolonized and equal world, we must all strive to find out about truth origins of the system that have oppressed for hundreds of years and work to dismantle them.

We cannot be complicit in systems of oppression that contravene even the foremost basic human rights.

Our freedom is incomplete without the freedom of the Palestinians!!!

(Nelson Mandela)

It’s not just a trend

It’s a 73 years issue!
